About us
From Damascus to Berlin
Our story begins in Damascus: there we were a well-known pastry shop whose cakes and sweets were loved across the city. Today our family recipes live on at Boxhagener Straße in Berlin – handmade, just like on day one.
That is what we are known for in the neighbourhood: everything homemade, with love and the flavours of the Orient – from the first petit four to the multi-tiered wedding cake.

The hands behind every cake
Master pastry chef Mahmoud Alhussein ran our well-known pastry shop in Damascus – today he is in the Berlin bakery himself every morning.
Every cake passes through his hands: from the first dough to the final gold décor. Machines can do a lot – but not the feeling for the right moment.
